by using theparsiproject.com ("the site"), you agree to these terms. if you do not agree, please do not use the site.

the parsi project is a free, community-driven platform providing zoroastrian prayers, rituals, calendar information, and tools like roj wisher for birthday reminders. the site is not affiliated with any religious institution.

2. accounts

you may sign in using your google account. you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. you agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate others.

3. acceptable use

you agree not to:

• use the site for any unlawful purpose
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its systems
• scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the site
• upload malicious content or interfere with the site's operation
• use roj wisher to store data about people without their knowledge where required by applicable law

you retain ownership of any data you provide (contacts, settings). by using the site, you grant us permission to store and process this data solely to provide the service. see our privacy policy for details.

5. google calendar integration

if you choose to enable google calendar sync, you authorize us to create and manage a "roj wisher" calendar in your google account. you can revoke this access at any time through your google account settings. we are not responsible for any changes google may make to their calendar service.

6. content and accuracy

prayer texts, translations, ritual guides, and calendar calculations are provided for educational and devotional purposes. while we strive for accuracy, we make no guarantees that all content is error-free. the zoroastrian calendar calculations are based on established algorithms but may differ from local community practices.

7. availability

we aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. the site is provided free of charge and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.

8. limitation of liability

the site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site, including but not limited to missed reminders, incorrect calendar events, or data loss.
